千呼万唤始出来，情人节前夕，京城终于下起了一场“认真的雪”。

比起被网友戏称为“头皮屑”的初雪，昨日，北京“第一场正经的雪” 终于从朋友圈里走向了现实，攀上了热搜，朋友圈中也一度被雪景刷屏。

更让人期待的是，据中央气象台，明天14日情人节又将迎来一场明显降雪，而且降雪要比12日更加明显。

当然，除了北京，据中央气象台预计，未来两三天西北华北等地也会有降雪天气。

Beijing was thrilled by snowfall on Tuesday, when snowflakes whirled from the sky like a myriad of feathers, making the city's landmarks even more magical and setting the scene for Valentine's Day.

As if the weather knew the romantic sentiment it was creating, another snowfall is expected to blanket the city on Valentine's Day.

比如北京一名程序员踩出的“雪地佩奇”火了。 

网上流传的一段视频显示，一位男士冒雪拿着手机在中关村在一片雪地上用脚踩出了小猪佩奇的头像。

视频的介绍中称，作者是一位单身的程序员。

网友们称：竟然还有这么浪漫的程序员？

The snowfall not only prompted netizens everywhere to snap (and upload) as many photos as they could, but also got everyone to embrace their inner child. For instance, a programmer went viral thanks to his video in which he made a sketch of Peppa Pig by stomping on the snow.

一下雪，北京就美成了北平。成千上万的游客和摄影爱好者难以拒绝大好赏雪的机会，而没机会看雪景的网友们齐齐借机刷屏#想去故宫看雪景#。

It took longer than usual for a proper snowfall during this winter season in Beijing, thus making it a unique event. To record the sight, thousands of visitors and shutterbugs flocked to some of the hottest spots in Beijing, which have remained popular even after the busy Spring Festival holiday.
